  • (1888PressRelease) September 25, 2013 - New Delhi - More than 624 students got recruited during the campus placement programme. The highest compensation stood at a staggering Rs. 24.64 lakhs per annum, which was offered to 3 students by ALGHANIM industries for International posting.

    Commenting on the placement programme, CA Subodh Kumar Agrawal, President, ICAI said, "We are happy to see the response of the companies at our campus placement programme despite the current phase of economic slowdown. As many as 58 organizations offered jobs to our students and the salary package offered to them ranged between Rs. 4 lakhs to Rs. 24.67 lakhs. We organize such recruitment programmes twice a year for budding chartered accountants to give them a head start in their careers in the areas of taxation and finance."

    As many as 58 organizations comprising more than 103 interview teams participated during the recruitment in the campus placement programme for Aug-Sep, 2013. The companies represented almost all the sectors of the Indian economy like Information Technology, Financial Services, Oil & Gas Refining, Banking, BPO, Telecommunication, Mining, FMCG, Agro etc. The best response has been received from the IT sector.
