Led by Campbell Law Student Bar Association President Anna Brinkley and students Dorothy Gooding, Brian Lawler, Jasmine Lucas and Brad Trahan, the law school collected more than 6,500 pounds of canned food in just three weeks.

The food drive occurred March 18 through April 5, hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and the North Carolina Association of Food Banks. The collection resulted in approximately 180,000 pounds of food, providing the equivalent of 150,000 meals for hungry North Carolinians across the state. The donations will distributed by the North Carolina Association of Food Banks.

North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper will honor the winners of each category, including Campbell Law, on Wednesday, April 24 at the N.C. Bar Center in nearby Cary.

    QUOTES:
"Campbell Law School is a special place because of the people," said Brinkley. "This achievement in having the most contributions for the food drive is just another example of our law school community coming together and supporting a worthy cause."
