The speakers, Ashok Desai, from BTRA, Saktiprasad Chakrabarty, from TMMA, Faruque Hassan, from BGMEA and Tahir Jahangir, from TMA, discussed issues relevant to potential investors and companies looking to enter or purchase from the markets, including:

    - Policy and regulatory overviews of each market
    - The state of the Indian textile engineering industry
    - Technology upgrades in textiles & clothing: a perspective from Bangladesh
    - Proposal for free trade within the subcontinent
