  • (1888PressRelease) October 28, 2011 - On 12/10/2011, bsoco, the leader of the community benchmark in the domain of professional software, publishes its third barometer of 2011. This paper presents the buying trends of the months of July, August and September. It refines the general trend of 2011 on areas of professional software such that the e-learning, HR, e-business and management applications.

In the third quarter, buying trends seem to have followed the curves of the financial markets, the decline has been fairly general (-11%). In this trend of decline, only the human resources sector has done better and getting a 3% increase in purchase intent. Conversely, the business sector (CRM, CMS, e-mailing) whose performance was particularly good from April to June suffered a significant drop in purchase intent (- 25%). The most dramatic fall back was in the domain of e-mailing.

Just as in the second quarter, it is the talent management software that seem to bring greater satisfaction to their users. Note also that two of them are placed on the top of bsoco top 50. This ranking is determined by bsoco from surveys of users of the software.

In the top 50, we see some great entries like Ciel, the accounting software (39th), OutStart LCMS software for creating e-learning content that is positioned in 46th place, or the Microsoft CRM (50th).
