One of the members, Eric Mateer, will be present to sign his a new children's book, Paint Me Terrified. The opening reception and book signing will be on Saturday December 3, from 3-5PM. The exhibition is on display November 29, 2011 through January 7, 2012.

    Paint Me Terrified is a newly-released book for young readers designed to combine the fast-paced, quick-thinking of a mystery with the heart-pounding, spine-tingling nature of horror. A tale from the mind of first-time published author Eric Mateer of Northbridge, Massachusetts, Paint Me Terrified is a story written by a lifelong mystery & horror story enthusiast for a new generation of young mystery and children's horror fans.     Other members of the association will be showing recently made photographs, oil and watercolor paintings, executed in traditional and contemporary styles.

    This is exhibition is part of a Woodshed Gallery program designed to help artists take control of their presentations and advance their careers.

    The Woodshed Gallery was founded by professional artist Angelina Wood in 1968, and continues to be a family-run business. They specialize in conservation picture framing and the exhibition of original fine art. The Woodshed Gallery also shows a selection of hand-crafted jewelry and fashion accessories.

    The Woodshed Gallery is located at 1243 Pond Street, Franklin, MA, near the Medway border. Gallery hours are Tuesdays thru Fridays, 10AM-5PM, Saturdays 10AM-3PM.
