  • West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) September 01, 2012 - Another sale this summer has raised the total closed sales dollar volume at One Thousand Ocean to more than $200 million since the building opened in 2010. Only seven of the building's 52 new condominium residences are now available as the developer's team gears up to what is anticipated to be the final selling season for the iconic project.

The most recent sale was an all-cash transaction for $5.4 million. Vince O'Brien with Nestler Poletto Sotheby's International Realty introduced the buyer and worked closely with One Thousand Ocean's Director of Sales, Maria Scarola, to facilitate a quick closing. The residence will be one of several the buyer owns in various locations.

The closing took place within several weeks from when the buyer first visited the property. "This is in keeping with an already established trend at One Thousand Ocean where serious prospects walk in, love our unmatchable location and lifestyle, and make their decision quickly," Scarola pointed out.

Located on the fourth floor and featuring ocean, inlet, lake and city views, the recently sold, move-in ready residence has 4,971-square-foot and four bedrooms, four and one-half baths. There is an additional 1,289 square feet divided between two outdoor terraces. One terrace has an outdoor kitchen and private, jetted and heated plunge pool.

Among other highlights are a private elevator lobby, expansive floor-to-ceiling walls of glass, top-of-the-line kitchen with eat-in breakfast room, and living, dining and media rooms. The master suite has a lake terrace, spa-like bathroom, his-and-her built-in closets, and an adjoining home office. The residence also included a private two-car garage.

"This recent closing validates that luxury real estate is indeed sold during the summer in South Florida," noted Jamie Telchin, president of development with LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. An LXR affiliate developed the modern, seven-story, nautilus-shaped landmark which is considered one of the most successful new construction projects in South Florida since the start of sales. "For us the 'season' continues beyond the traditional end of April as we experience a great deal of activity during the summer months. In fact, this is our fifth sale in five months, representing a collective total of just over $21 million.

"People realize that real estate markets are stabilizing. At the same time, they see our inventory diminishing and recognize if they want to live in our building, now is the time to buy," Telchin said, adding that the building is now 87% sold.

Of the new, finished, move-in ready residences available at One Thousand Ocean, two of the three have optional furniture packages from international home furnishings brand Roche Bobois, and one is a model by Venus Williams' V*Starr Interiors. Additionally, there are three unfinished penthouses that may be customized to realize each buyer's grand vision. Prices are from approximately $3 million to $15 million

One Thousand Ocean has an exclusive on-site Ocean Club amenities area along with private cabanas, pool butler, onsite management, 24-hour desk attendant, concierge, valet parking and patrol services.

Additionally, One Thousand Ocean is next door to the Boca Raton Resort's Beach Club and residents may elect private membership privileges there and at resort's main campus just across the Intracoastal. With golf, tennis, marina, water sports, spa, fitness centers, croquet, pools, varied dining venues and a calendar of social activities readily available, the lifestyle is all encompassing.

"One Thousand Ocean residents enjoy an incredible level of personal service. They can choose to order room service or have a dinner party catered in their residence, or have lunch served to them at their private cabana at One Thousand Ocean. It doesn't get any better than this…and our buyers know it," Scarola noted.
