Bishop Denis Nulty to Bless New Shalom World Media Centre in Portlaoise, Ireland

Shalom World officially launches its state-of-the-art Irish broadcasting hub with a public Thanksgiving Mass and ceremony.

Shalom World, the international award-winning Catholic media network, is proud to announce the formal inauguration of its new Media Centre with a Thanksgiving Mass and Blessing Ceremony on Thursday, 29th January 2026.
The ceremony will be celebrated by the Most Rev. Denis Nulty, Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, at SS. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, starting at 10:00 AM.
The opening of this Media Centre marks a major milestone in the ministry’s expansion. Located in the heart of Ireland, the new facility has been transformed from a historic local structure into a high-tech hub capable of producing and transmitting commercial-free, family-friendly content to over 140 countries. This launch represents Shalom World’s commitment to its mission: “From the heart of Portlaoise to every corner of the world.”
