Big Brother winner Josie Gibson enrols on a Nutrition Consultant course with Open Study College.
(1888PressRelease) January 05, 2012 - Josie Gibson, the winner of Channel 4's Big Brother in 2010, has enrolled on Open Study College's Nutrition Consultant course.
The course is a level 3 award in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework, teaching students the principles of nutrition in relation to modern-day Western society.
Fast food, manufacturing processes and multiculturalism are all discussed as major influences on diet, ensuring that students learn about nutrition in an up-to-date, contemporary context.
Josie's enrolment follows that of other British celebrities who have chosen Open Study College to learn comfortably from home, without having to attend a classroom.
She commented: "The people at Open Study College were really lovely when I enrolled, and even though I've only just started the course, I'm learning loads already!"
The course is expected to receive a greater number of applications in 2012, as the demand for diet and nutrition professionals continues to increase.
