  • (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2019 - Vinita Radhakrishnan's traditional margam recital on a pleasant Saturday evening at ADA Ranga Mandira brought an artistic performance out of a reputed patent attorney, who started learning dance when she was just four years old. Though Vinita started tentatively, she was in her elements by the third sequence and was at her best by the end of the performance. A disciple of Guru Smt. Meenal Prabhu and Guru Smt. Indira Kadambi, well known dance teachers in Bangalore, Vinita rendered a performance that was appreciated by one and all. Mr. Sai Venkatesh, Director of Sai Arts International was the chief guest, and Ms. Sheela Chandrashekar, dance faculty at Jain University, was a special guest at the show.

Talking about her performance, Sai Venkatesh said, "It is not easy to render a performance of this standard unless dedicated efforts are put into dance practise. Dance is like a 'thapas' and Vinita's excellent recital showed us what its results can be." Ms. Sheela Chandrashekar agreed with him, and proceeded to say that Vinita's passion for Bharatanatyam came out in her soulful recital of some of the sequences.

About 160 people attended the show despite the long weekend and ongoing Navaratri celebrations. Several others also saw the show online by way of https://www.live.shaale.com/Vineeta live stream. Many upcoming dancers and artists were among the audience.

The performance's music ensemble consisted of Balasubramanya Sharma on vocal, Gurumurthy on mrudungam, Pradesh Acharya on Violin, and Prasanna Kumar on rhythm pads. Their wonderful performance combined with great light work and stage decoration enhanced the artistic value of Vinita's recital. Vinita is an artist to watch for in the upcoming Bharatanatyam sphere of professionals.
