Beer Lovers In Luck As Fairplex Hosts "La On Tap" May 7

  • (1888PressRelease) April 30, 2016 - Beer lovers are in for a real treat as Fairplex, home of the LA County Fair in Pomona, hosts its 2nd Annual "LA on Tap," Saturday, May 7 from 2 - 6 p.m. Guests at this brew fest can sample from more than 150 beers including American and German lagers, rye beers, gluten-free varieties, barrel-age strong beers, Bohemian pilsners and even pale ales from India, France and Belgium. The entry fee includes a souvenir tasting cup, international foods and live performances. Only those 21 and over will be admitted. The featured beers represent 65 of the finest breweries in the world and all were finalists in the LA International Beer Competition held recently at Fairplex. Admission is $60 at the door and $50 if purchased online. (Those interested in early admission at 1 p.m. will pay $75 at the door and $65 online.) All proceeds will benefit The Learning Centers at Fairplex.

"The featured beers this year were selected by a panel of judges who evaluated the beers via a blind taste test so that they reflect the highest standards of flavor, body and integrity."
