  • Nashville, TN (1888PressRelease) May 25, 2012 - Kurt Beasley and Waterford Law Group have announced the signing of a broad publishing arrangement for Michael Neale, Florida-based songwriter and worship leader, with global publisher Thomas Nelson Inc. The company is the world's largest Christian publisher. Neale's novel The River will be released to market in September 2012 from Thomas Nelson Fiction.

Michael Neale is a Dove Award-winning musician and performer. The book was initially delivered in a limited self-published format on demand. Distribution quickly overwhelmed Neale and his team, and then Beasley approached Thomas Nelson, Inc. about publishing the novel through traditional channels and opening up other possibilities for partnership and distribution.

Along with a team that included award-winning composer Michael Whittaker, Neale produced an original score and recorded epic HD film footage to serve as a backdrop for the story. The end result is a powerful multi-media storytelling experience that literally immerses the audience in a live visual journey through the story of The River, guided by Neale.

Michael Neale, based at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Beasley are currently finalizing a touring production of The River scheduled for 2012-2013. According to Beasley, the multi-media concert event was initially premiered on October 27, 2011 in Palm Beach Gardens. Neale, acknowledged as a master storyteller and gifted communicator, garnered high praise for his work. The touring production has been designed as a work of art that speaks about beauty, sacrifice, forgiveness and redemption, according to the author.

"Our firm has represented many types of talent over the years but the way that audiences respond to The River is unlike anything we have experienced," says Beasley. "It is an honor to be able to serve Michael and assist in building a global platform. Partnering with Thomas Nelson is a critical component and our long standing relationship enabled us to move quickly."

Kurt Beasley is the founding partner for Waterford Law Group, Franklin Tennessee. The firm represents talent globally in the areas of contract law, intellectual property management, accounting and creative direction.
