  • (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2013 - Los Angeles: Chart Vision Institute completed the successful relaunch of their staple brand Be Seen and Be Heard. "The 2 Day workshop will act as a spring board for the continued growth and expansion of the weekend" says James Warren, Director of Programs for Chart Vision Institute.

    Day One of Be Seen & Be Heard boasted an interactive Town Hall Meeting featured several key music professionals. Panel discussions "Thriving as a Independent, " featured topics on social media, digital and street marketing, Branding and Imaging, and the importance of selecting the proper music to market. The audience received valuable insight from moderator David A. Mitchell of Amalgamation Magazine, Jason Schweitzer; Grammy Award Winning Mix Engineer, Paul Finamore; Lifestyle and Entertainment Marketing of Neff Headwear (Snoop Lion, Virgin Records), Sanni Youboty; Digital Content/Social Media for RedOne/ /2101 Record, and Stix; Executive Producer, A&R Representative (Iggy Azalea), and Songwriter.

    The second panel discussion, "Behind the HITS: DECONSTRUCTION," featured topics on components of successful popular songs, an artist properly protecting their music, artist finding a sound for themselves, amongst other things. The A&Rs that attended the panel and provided great insight were: Shawn Barron; Senior Director of A&R at Atlantic Records, Eesean Bolden, A&R Representative of Capitol Records, Chris "Country" Lee; Senior Director of Popular Music at Chart Vision, Inc, Noah Preston, A&R at Island Def Jam Records, and Stix, Executive Producer, stayed from the previous panel to provide his opinion on song production, as well.

    Day Two allowed participants with the opportunity to play their music for the A&R panel and to also perform live. This secret location was AMP Rehearsal Studios in North Hollywood, CA. Several Artists showcased their abilities and now have follow up meetings with the labels in the coming weeks.

    No date has been released for the next Be Seen and Be Heard at this time.
