  • (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2012 - Construction Review is a must read for key construction industry professionals. Quarter 4 begins with leading stories from two key figures within the construction community; Dr Noble Francis, Economics Director of the Construction Products Association and Brian Green who blogs for Building magazine.

The review provides a detailed analysis of all sectors within the construction industry. Here's an extract from the Medical & Health sector summary (October to December 2011):

Despite news of impending cut backs, the Medical & Health sector saw the total value of contracts awarded up 15% on the previous quarter and 19% on the corresponding quarter of 2010. The quarter did see a number of schemes let under the Procure 21+ framework, an important procurement route for new construction. Publically financed developments are expected to suffer double digit falls for the next three years, according to the Construction Products Association in their latest forecasts.

Barbour ABI reports on every project in the UK by enhancing planning application and public tender information at each stage of the construction lifecycle. For over 70 years, Barbour ABI has provided industry leading services to the construction community.
