    Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. It is an opportunity for individuals and businesses to donate time or money or products and services.

    This year bambu joins up with other local Portland, Oregon businesses and 1% for the Planet members for an event at the new Patagonia store in Portland. bambu® is committing 10% of the sales on Giving Tuesday to Friends of the Columbia Gorge in this ‘Give Back to the Gorge’event at the Patagonia store on West Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon.
