The event was organized by India Exposition Mart in association with Hellomyyoga and Ministry of Ayush.

    With the onset of winters in November, India witnessed the congregation of natural healthcare experts to enlighten the masses about sustainable and holistic health. India Exposition Mart organized the Ayuryog Expo 2019 – India’a first World Assembly on Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy from 7th Nov-10th November 2019 at Greater Noida. People from different parts of the world attended this 4 day event which was illuminated by the words of wisdom from stalwarts. It was a unique initiative to encourage people to approach and embrace natural healing and preventive therapies for healthy living.

    The event started with lighting the holy lamp by dignitaries like Rakesh Kumar, Chairman India Exposition Mart Limited, Dr H R Nagendra, Chairman Ayuryog Expo Steering Committee and Vice Chancellor of S-VYASA, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary AYUSH and , Smt Hansa Jayadev, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister I/C AYUSH. who spoke about the three ancient systems – Yoga- for healthy mind, body and soul, prevention and rehabilitation, Ayurveda- “Knowledge of life” and Naturopathy, their efficacy in complementing, expanding and completing the allopathic and western therapies. Dr HR Nagendra put forth the challenge to integrate the three systems Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy in the healthcare mainstream. An impactful speech by Vishwaguruji stated that yoga is beyond exercises, it is complete understanding of nature and cosmos which comes through complete wisdom and practice. Other dignitaries present at the event were Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda Puri, PadmaShree Swami Bharat Bhushan, Jain Acharya Dr Lokesh, Padma Bhushan Vaidya Devendra Triguna, President All India Ayurveda Congress, stated the aim to achieve the system of medicine with Yoga, Ayurveda and naturopathy to ensure good health in cost effective way to the world. Member of Parliament Dr Mahesh Sharma was the Guest of Honor.

    Apart from this many companies exhibited the herbal and ayurvedic products like Patanjali, Stevia Life and yoga accessories like, ND Nirogam Pvt Ltd., Yogikuti Pvt Ltd and Dira to name a few who reverberated the need and spreading awareness about natural products for healthy life.

    The succeeding days were power packed. There were yoga sessions and satsangs by HH Jagat Guru Sri Amrtasuryananda Maha Raja from Portuguese Yoga Confederation, sessions by eminent speakers on yoga , Ayurveda and Naturopathy like Dr Satbir Singh Khalsa from Harvard Business School, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyaneshwar Puri from Yoga in Daily Life Foundation, Dr Partap Chauhan from Jiva Ayurveda, Dr Sudhir Bagga, Founder Science of Life also stated that it is very important to have such events for the different minds to meet and work cohesively together . Moreover the event took a historic turn when Swami RamdevJi took a session on Yoga and holistic healing which was attended by around 25000 people. The eminent personalities like Dr Lorenzo Cohen, Professor Department of General Oncology and Behavioural science and Director Integrative Medicine Program, University of Texas, Dr Jaydeep Arya, Chief Central co-ordinator, Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Dr Vasant Lad, Ayurvedic Physician and Professor, USA , Dr Nitin Agarwal and Dr Yamini Bhushan Tripathi, Dean, Faculty of Ayurveda made the event more enlightening and thought provoking. The speakers were presented with the mementos as a gesture of gratitude for making the event a success.

    There were sessions specifically dedicated for school children focusing on Yoga and value education to nurture their minds and empower them with good and healthy life. The people attended the event with full zeal and received takeaways which will be beneficial for lifetime and acknowledging the efficacy and dimensions of Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy.
