    From the beginning of August LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester is giving away £10 of FREE LEGO with every LDC Annual Pass. So, visitors buying a family pass for £96 will receive £40 to spend in the LDC shop. This incredible offer is first come first served while stocks last so come on down!

    All pass holders will also receive a free ticket each to LEGOLAND Windsor. The pass, which can be used any time during 2011, including August, is worth up to £121 for a family of four.

    Brand new Clutch Powers 4D film - from Saturday 6th August

    "A Clutch Power 4D Adventure" follows Clutch and his team on a hilarious and fun-filled mission to obtain a special mystery box for Professor Brick-a-Brack. The team splits up and takes to land, air and sea to retrieve the box-but when evil rock monsters threaten to take the box and its contents, the LEGO characters must put their differences aside and work as a team to rescue the box.

    What could be in the mysterious box? Will the team's brick-building skills stand up against the evil rock monsters? But most importantly, will Clutch and his team learn the importance of working together to save the mystery box's contents from falling into the wrong hands?

    The new film will join the current movies, Bob the Builder and Spellbreaker, on rotation daily in Manchester's only 4D cinema.

    LEGO Technic Extreme Machine Challenge - 11th & 12th August

    In August the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre will be transformed into a LEGO Technic workshop complete with huge dunk bins full of LEGO Technic.

    Car fans can build their own LEGO Technic Extreme Machine for the chance to win supercar prizes. Amazing prizes up for grabs will include racetrack days for the big kids, supercar school runs for 10 - 17 year olds and £400 of LEGO Technic for 5 - 9 year olds.

    LEGO Alien Conquest - 22nd - 28th August

    A Martian on Manchester's Town Hall or at Old Trafford? Aliens are set to invade MINILAND at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre from 22 to 28 August.

    Kids are encouraged to come dressed in costume - think green or whatever their imaginations can conjure up. Alien soldiers will take over MINILAND completely and kids will be challenged with finding the Alien commander to be in with a chance of winning a prize. There are loads of prizes from the Alien Conquest LEGO range up for grabs.

    MINILAND, built from more than 1.5 million LEGO bricks, brings the local area to miniature life with moving airships and trains.

    Located in Barton Square at The Trafford Centre, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is made up of a series of interactive features to immerse kids into a world where their imagination can run wild with creative inspiration at every turn. Featuring a whole host of exciting attractions from the Kingdom Quest ride to an amazing recreation of the North West's most iconic buildings, the Centre not only provides fun for LEGO fans young and old, but fantastic educational benefits too.
