  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) December 09, 2013 - The Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties hosts the Global Awards to recognize people from micro level to a greater macro level. This is extended across the Globe to choose the best out of all. The process of awards was too stringent in order to filter and screen all the nominees and pick the right residue. V. Jayakumar, Vice-President - Research who is the Principal of Sairam Engineering College and winner of Previous edition ASDF Global Awards as Best ASDF Academic Administrator and Dr. R. Mahalakshmi, Vice-President - Bodies who is the Dean of GKM Group and winner of Best Dean of the year 2012 the entire process was influentially into the track.

    With the volume of nominations received, the committee was able to filter the core finalists after individual visit to their organization or their institute to understand more about them. The committee was in two or three to find the different angles of the individuals including a Psychologist to analyze the individual on the basis of their attitude. After the filtration was over, the committee has brought 40 individuals as the finalists with few removal cases which were attempting to falsify the information quoted. The committee joined today for a meeting as the process of separation of the finalist and winners in front of all the juries and the verification authorities. Than going for the title standards, each and every individual were evaluated in multi-angles not only limiting to their qualification.

    The committee has visited different parts of India including Pune, Chhattisgarh, Bangalore, Chennai, Tirrupur, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Jaipur and beyond India to Kuwait, Malaysia, Australia, Egypt, United Kingdom and so on spending their valuable time without any expectation in return.

    The committee after a greater scrutiny finalized the Best Academic Dean award to Karthik Subburathinam, Dean, SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore; Best Professor Award to D P Kothari, MVSR College, Hyderabad, India; A S N Chakravarthy, JNTU, India; Abhay Prabhakar Kulkarni, Director, IICMR - Pune, India; Arup Barman, Assam University, India; Asha Shripad Ambhaikar; M Selvam, Director, Bharathidasan University, Trichy, India; R Baskar, Kongu Engineering College, Erode, India; Ram Shanmugam, University of Texas, Dallas; Renuka Jayaraman, Professor, GKM College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai, India; Vidhyacharan Bhaskar, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM University, Chennai, India.

    For the Best Academic Administrator of the year 2013 Dr. N. Ramaraj of GKM College of Engineering and Technology and Dr. Ramasamy Vasudevan of Adhiparasakthi Engineering College, India were unanimously decided after the verification log from the team of visitors.

    For the Best Computer Science Faculty of the year 2013 Grace Mary Kanaga E, Karunya University; Indra Gandhi Raman, GKM University, India; Regina Bagirathan, Saveetha University, India; Shriram Kris Vasudevan, Amrita University, Coimbatore, Ettimadai and Uma Narasariya Dulhare, CJITS, Janagon were selected and shared on evaluation of the equal competition amongst each.

    The Best Student Project was bagged by Sreedhanya MV; Indrajit Mandal of SASTRA University, India. Along with this victory, Indrajit Mandal, a Ph.D. student of SASTRA University also grabbed the Best ASDF Student Award jointly with Aran Glenn J and Nazeer Akram A of GKM College of Engineering and Technology.

    With a steady competition amongst the individual, there was a huge competition amongst the Institute Awards too this year. For a rigorous quality process even the land documents were ascertained and minute disputes were also considered and rejections were processed. At the last, GKM College of Engineering and Technology grabbed the Best Structured Institute of the year 2013 and Adhiparasakthi Engineering College grabbed the Best Academic Institute of the year 2013.

    On a move for the Industry Category award, The Woman Entrepreneur Award of the Year 2013 is given across to Dr. Sujatha Balasubramanian who excels in Education, Construction and Travel verticals of Business.

    Ganesan Ganapathy; Ganesh Pundlikrao Khandare; Mohammad Ghulam Ali; Palanikumar K; Soubhik Chakraborty; Nimalathasan Balasundaram and S Geetha are sharing the Best Academic Researcher of the year 2013 award on consideration with the equivalent value of research contribution.

    Sundeep Kumar Dhawan of National Physics Laboratory, CSIR, Government of India is receiving the Best Scientific Researcher of the year 2013 award on evaluation with his patent and research activities. Sivakumar V of CDAC, Pune is receiving the Best Industry Researcher of the year 2013.

    And coming for the most important award out of all the awards under the ASDF Global Awards 2013, the Lifetime Achievement Award is given across to Ayyanadar Arunachalam, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Government of India. Adding words on this award, this award recipient is the youngest of all the previous Lifetime Achievement Award winners. Also this is the second time award to ICAR individual on recognition of their achievements rendered.

    Widely closing the committee along with the former Country Head - India Dr. K. Kokula Krishna Hari gave an open call for all the public to be as a part of this Global Awards and witness the victory of people on 30th December, 2013 at Pondicherry, India.
