  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) April 18, 2013 - PAT Riefflin, an up-and-coming artist, musical genius, and a force to be reckoned with will release his latest and debut solo album, iPAT exclusively on iTunes this Saturday, April 20, 2013. The album consists of 17 tracks that encompass a flavor of a new, modern version of alternative rock mixed with rock, hip-hop, soul, reggae and blues.

iPAT is self-produced by Riefflin and is driven by his extraordinary guitar skills and style, which acts as the center of the album. Riefflin's techniques and guitar skills are truly one-of-a-kind and can be compared to the great talent of musical prodigies, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix and John Fuschainte of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

iPAT was recorded very futuristically as Riefflin recorded the album solely on his Apple iPad via the Apple APP, 'Garage Band.' The album truly encompasses sounds that are inspirational, vibrant and soothing. Listeners can easily feel his passion and drive through his soulful lyrics, harmonies and sounds that can be justified as empowering, good feeling and captivating of the soul.

Riefflin just introduced his music video of 'Hollywood' on April 12, 2013. He is currently shooting the music video for 'City of Angels,' which is planned to be released next month. The tracks '20 Bucks Less' and 'At the Dispensary' are sure to be hits as well.

When asked about iPAT, Riefflin remarked "I've put my all into this one, although it's not a shiny, full-band studio produced record, it's passion and progressiveness can be heard. I want to challenge the listeners to keep up with the themes and worlds created within iPAT, yet allow them to be seduced by the hypnotic and undeniably catchy layers of sonic expression"

PAT Riefllin embarked on his musical career at the early age of nine when he picked up his first guitar, mesmerized by the soul and vibrant sounds he could portray through his playing he never put the guitar down. Riefflin formed the bands, Translated in 2002 and P.A.T in 2009. Riefflin performed with rappers, Domino and DJ Butters in 2008, opening up for musical legends, Snoop Dogg and Warren G on their tour. Riefflin soon after knew he had to go on as a solo artist to truly embark on his musical career that will be long lived. Within the past year, he has played shows from Los Angeles to Seattle. He is currently the resident musician at Residuals and Pitfire Pizza in North Hollywood, CA and The Blarney Stone in downtown Seattle. He will be performing at The 420 Cannabis Cup in Denver, CO, the first ever U.S., legal Cannabis Cup, April 19, 2013 - April 21, 2013, around the same time as Riefflin's release iPAT on April 20, 2013.
