(1888PressRelease) October 01, 2011 - Rates of prostate cancer in men are comparable to breast cancer rates in women, with a man being diagnosed with the disease every 2.7 minutes. According to recent findings, men are 40 per cent more likely than women to die from cancer due to the simple act of putting off doctor visits and failing to lead a proactively healthy lifestyle.

Armour Technology Solutions, a Microsoft partner in Barrie providing IT solutions throughout Simcoe County has formed the "Armour Lip Charmours", a team which will be raising money for prostate cancer research through the growing of moustaches as a part of the annual fundraising campaign.

"Movember, the month formerly known as November, aims to change the statistics of this disease", states Chris Holmes, President of Armour Technology Solutions. "We hope the Lip Charmours can entertain, educate and enlighten in regard to the importance of prostate cancer awareness and research".
