  • (1888PressRelease) September 18, 2010 - JetFlite International, the luxury aircraft charter and management company, elevates its ability to offer outstanding service and value to clients with the addition of a new president and new aircraft. Additionally, JetFlite International has acquired management of two additional private jet aircraft.

Mr. Pod, formerly the president and CEO of Executive Jet Management (EJM), will handle JetFlite's daily operations and strategic growth. At EJM, Pod was responsible for NetJets' aircraft management business unit, which included aircraft charter and maintenance, as well as the initiation and certification of the firm to ISO 9001:2000 quality standards. EJM was voted Best Charter Company in the U.S. by readers of Professional Pilot Magazine for 10 consecutive years. Mr. Pod joins JetFlite with more than 13,000 hours of flight time and more than 10,000 hours as Jet Pilot in Command. Mr. Pod will report to Bill Cripe, JFI's CEO.

"I am excited to join JetFlite International at the beginning of what I'm convinced will be a successful future," said Mr. Pod. "I look forward to contributing to JetFlite's exquisite level of service and helping to develop additional ways we can serve and delight our clients."

Mr. Pod joins the JFI management team just a few months after John Williams, a former senior executive at American Express and the former President and CEO of Sentient Jet, the large private jet charter broker. Mr. Williams continues in his role as president of JFI's Eastern Division, based at Farmingdale Republic Airport (FRG).

Committed to broadening flight offerings, JetFlite has added a 2008 Gulfstream G200 to its expanding fleet of managed aircraft. The new G200 will help establish JetFlite International's presence globally. It will also give JetFlite's current client base even more access to private aircraft. JetFlite has also recently added a Lear 60 aircraft to its growing operations.

"We're fortunate to be able to increase our management depth and our fleet simultaneously," stated Arik Kislin, Chairman of JFI. "A large part of our mission is to be proactive with business growth, and I know that Albert's leadership will aid in this effort."
