  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2013 - Economic development, transportation and town growth were at the heart of topics in a survey of candidates for Apex Town Council conducted by The Apex Chamber of Commerce. All six candidates in the race participated in the survey. The responses are now available on line at www.apexchamber.com.

"We asked each candidate six questions, mostly about the growth of Apex and attracting new business to town," said Graham Wilson, Executive Director of the Apex Chamber of Commerce. "All of them had the opportunity to share their thoughts on where Apex should place its priorities in the future. We want to express our thanks to all of the candidates for participating in the survey."

The candidates (in alphabetical order) are: Nicole Dozier, Jennifer Ferrell, Chad Price, Terry Rowe, Gene Schulze and Denise Wilkie. Three seats on council are up for election, each for a four-year term.

"The Apex Chamber does not endorse individual candidates, but we saw this as an opportunity to provide a neutral forum for all of the candidates to answer the same questions," said Wilson. "We hope the survey will be a help to voters as they make their decisions on Election Day."

Elections for Apex Town Council will take place November 5. Early voting options are also available. Voters who are not sure of where to vote should contact the Wake County Board of Elections for more information.
