  • (1888PressRelease) November 26, 2010 - The TAHOMA-DE is a Universal Multiviewer, meaning that it accepts four to eight HDMI, DVI, VGA, YPbPr, YC, Composite, and SDI video sources for visual monitoring on a single high resolution display. The way that the TAHOMA-DE lets user mix a variety of video and computer formats in one multi-image display processor makes it an intelligent image and signal processing solution for a large variety of applications in the broadcast, proav, security / surveillance and government markets.

As with Apantac's full platform of TAHOMA Multiviewers, the TAHOMA-DE family includes built-in CATx extenders allowing the display monitors to be up to 35 meters (115 feet) away from the Multiviewer.

"We see a continued strong demand for video solutions designed to boost productivity and Multiviewers are an idea way for government facilities to cost-effectively monitor input signals," comments Thomas Tang, Apantac President.

Apantac will also be demonstrating its TAHOMA-LX32-HD, a 32-input high definition Multiviewer with built-in 32x32 routing switcher. With dynamic assignment or by simply recalling presets, you can quickly assign inputs to different displays, or display inputs more than once. This integrated Multiviewer and Routing Switcher architecture provides advanced flexibility for visually monitoring signals, and simplifies installation, maintenance, and cabling.

Also featured at GV Expo will be the CRESCENT series of compact SDI to HDMI converters, 1x4 and 1x8 3G reclocking distribution amplifiers, and an audio deembedder for eight pairs of AES and 16 channels of analog audio.

Apantac will also have its line of MT HOOD signal processing and extension solutions on display.
