Held at Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, the event will help raise funds to support adoption and foster care programs.

"Lilyfield has seen tremendous growth in our programs in the past year," said executive director Holly Towers. "We believe that every child deserves a family. This event is a great way to help provide a family for a child in need."

A Kids Dash, inflatable moon bounces and other activities will be available for children during the event. All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt and dinner following the run, which begins at 6:00 p.m.

"May is National Foster Care Month. People often wonder how they can be involved in making a difference in the lives of children in foster care. Through this event, people can partner with our organization to make a difference for some of these children, as well as children in need of adoptive homes," Towers said.
