The IL Bridge Fund currently provides 'Bridge Funding' for small businesses that need more timely funding, with less stringent lending criteria, until more permanent institutional funding can be secured. . "We want the businesses to be successful, therefore sometimes they not only need funds, but also advice on growing and validating their businesses," says Mr. Sferrazza.

The Educational Financial and Mentoring Program is just one of the few programs that Mr. Sferrazza has developed or advocated. During the past few years, he has been a panelist speaker on several occasions for SCORE and other organizations in the State of Ohio. SCORE provides emerging businesses with many types of mentoring and advice through counselors and other business owners. "Business development is vital to our economy and we must do everything we can to provide them with the tools needed to succeed", says Angelo. Just recently Angelo consulted with a local business owner to provide financial and business counseling, resulting in a new start up that will afford up to 24 new jobs. The revitalization of business growth is a top priority of the new Governor, John Kasich, who recently launched the JobsOhio Initiative. "We fully support any and all programs that encourage growth both regionally and statewide", says Mr. Sferrazza.
