American Band Angel Roze Signs Up To Compete In Emergenza
North Dakota rock band Angel Roze has registered to compete in the Emergenza Rock Festival.
- (1888PressRelease) August 22, 2013 - Emergenza is the world's largest rock festival for unsigned bands. It holds concerts in more than 150 cities around the world. The festival puts the spotlight on up and coming bands from across the globe.
The festival is held in elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year. In the first rounds winners are decided by an open vote by the attending audience. The finals are judged by a professional panel of judges. The goal for each band is to win their national competition and move on to the international finals.
The international finals are held over three days in Germany at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. The winning band is crowned the "Best Band in the World" and wins a tour, studio time, promotion and musical instruments.
The first Emergenza Rock Festival was held in1992 in front an audience of 245. Five months later, they were putting on shows of more than 3000. Im 1885 the Emergenza logo was born. Today it is the most renowned rock festival in the world.
Angel Roze is an American band from White Shield North Dakota. They are also known as simply A.F.R. The band is reputed for its innovative blend of alternative rock, punk rock, hip-hop, heavy metal, Emo and Screamo.
The band was formed in 2009 and consists of lead vocalist Derik D-Rock Wilkinson, bassist Frankie Wilkinson, drummer Cedrick Wilkinson, guitarists Shelby Goodall and Jolie Blon also on vocals. The band says that they draw inspiration from heavy metal instrumentation, as well as a hybrid form of rock/hip-hop/screamo.
Angel Roze is well known for its leftist political views for standing up for all human rights and as well as its unexplained paranormal events, which they express in there music.
Angel Roze released its first album 'A Scene of Mass Murder" this past May. Angel Roze is proud to represent its 'native blood.' They have performed in top venues such as The Whiskey a Go-Go and The Rainbow Bar and Grill in Hollywood.
