  • (1888PressRelease) April 08, 2016 - Amenity360 Hong Kong has just completed its acquisition of leading oral care company FrescaDent. With this step, the Hong Kong based travel care product manufacturer advances its efforts to strengthen its international presence and expand its brand portfolio. For Amenity360 Hong Kong it is the largest acquisition in the company's history.

Amenity360 Hong Kong Limited signed a contract with FrescaDent S.A. on February 16, 2016 for the acquisition of the European oral care brand FrescaDent. There is an agreement of non-disclosure regarding the acquisition price and other details of the transaction.

FrescaDent, founded in 2003 in Paris, France, produces premium oral care products and accessories mainly distributed in leading pharmacies across Europe. Currently, the company generates approximately a third of its revenue in France and Benelux, a third in Southern Europe and one third in Central Europe.

"Amenity360 and FrescaDent are a perfect match," states Amenity360's CEO, Paul Bohm. He expects that the acquisition of the successful manufacturer promises good growth opportunities - especially in the markets mentioned above but are also expecting a substantial growth in Asia, Middle East and South America. The combination of the two companies will increase the value Amenity360 delivers to customers. "FrescaDent's high quality but still affordable luxury oral care products will be a perfect enhancement to Amenity360's established product portfolio. At the same time, we will provide access to new customers and contacts. This will be rolled out all over our global hotel distribution network but in addition to that we also forecast large growth in the airline market. In particular, the brand will benefit from the pooling of our market know-how as well as from optimizations in service and sales," Bohm adds. The annual revenue of the FrescaDent global business is expected to increase to approximately USD 6 million as a result of the acquisition.

Alicia Peyrat, outgoing CEO of FrescaDent, added: "FrescaDent has built a strong position in the premium oral care market in Europe. We are delighted to have found an established partner in Amenity360 that will help further the development of FrescaDent with its industry expertise, global network and innovation capability."
