Ambassador Bridge Goes Red With Bi-National Effort To Fight Women's Heart Disease

  • (1888PressRelease) March 01, 2011 - WARREN, Mich. - As part of the effort, there are free blood pressure screenings every Wednesday through Saturday from 3:00-6:00p.m. at the AMMEX Global Marketplace near the Ambassador Bridge. A $3.00 donation is made to the American Heart Association in the US for every fragrance sold at the AMMEX Global Marketplace and to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario from sales at the Ambassador Duty Free Store in Canada.

    According to the AHA, nearly 500,000 American women die from cardiovascular disease each year.
