  • (1888PressRelease) August 23, 2019 - To honor Barbie’s 60th anniversary, Richprime Global Inc. held the award on March 9, 2019, at The Block Atrium in SM City North Edsa, Quezon City. The Barbie PH Award coincides with the Women’s Month Celebration, recognizing nine empowering women in their respective fields.

Barbie PH awarded Alice Eduardo as the Most Inspiring Entrepreneur. Eduardo built her construction empire through Sta. Elena Construction & Development Corporation, which is an AAA and Large B firm with a capitalization of at least Php300 million. Other than the power plants, her company built the foundation of Entertainment City. Construction and engineering are male-dominated industries, and yet, she was able to compete against the big names then. She displayed the true grit of any steelman, resulting to her earning the moniker Woman of Steel.

Further along, she was a staunch supporter of business and charitable works. She was a mentor at Go Negosyo! Eduardo was also honored as one of Forbes’ Heroes of Philanthropy in December 2018 because of her isolation ward donation at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

She is the only brand that has the power to inspire the next generation. Welcome to all the Barbie fans who are growing up believing in their limitless potential.” Its President Myrna Yao also mentioned that Barbie is “the only doll that represents the lifestyle of the woman” before presenting the recognitions.
