Akhtar A. Alvi immigrated to the United States in 1976. He did not leave his hometown of Lahore, Pakistan, alone. His wife, Razia, and two sons, Rizwan and Anwar, moved with him. For the past five decades, he has worked as an International Business Management Consultant. He has expertise in project management, finance, public speaking, and training. Akhtar has also worked as a management coach worldwide. He has taught Civil Engineering at two universities in Pakistan and the USA.

Akhtar graduated with a B.Sc. and two M.Sc. degrees in Civil Engineering, specializing in water resources and environmental engineering. He has made some of the most significant contributions in the field of business and project management, and has also extended his knowledge into the realm of religion.

He has made a tremendous contribution to the business and religion sectors by writing some of the most remarkable books on business and religion.
