Advanced Eye Hospital Celebrates World Sight Day
The world celebrates World Sight Day on October 10th, 2013 as an effort to increase awareness about eye care. As a step in this direction, Advanced Eye Hospital in Navi Mumbai is celebrating World Sight Day by organising a free eye check up in the hospital premises.

If this number seems shocking, what follows is more appalling. 80% of all visual impairment can be avoided or cured! That means, about 228 million people live in a world of visual impairment for no reason!
Why do such large numbers suffer from visual impairment when it can easily be avoided? Apart from poor access to eye care facilities, a large number of people are unaware of the need for eye care.
