  • (1888PressRelease) May 26, 2017 - DALLAS, TEXAS - The Dress Performance Theatre Series of "Unringing The Bell," featuring Actor Dorien Wilson on Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20, 2017 at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, has been rescheduled because of his doctor's orders.

    His performance is now slated for Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29, 2017 @ 8:15 p.m. in the Clarence Muse Café Theatre, in the Dallas Convention Center Theater, 1309 Canton Street, Dallas, Texas 75201.

    "Per my doctor's orders, I am very sorry that my health will not permit me to travel at this time. I am looking forward to returning to TBAAL in July for my one-man show 'Unringing the Bell,' said Mr. Wilson. "I hope the Academy and my loyal fans will attend the performance."

    Portraying a variety of characters in this poignant, yet comedic solo show, Dorien Wilson returns to the stage at TBAAL! The veteran actor takes the audience on a roller-coaster ride about his life from childhood, alcoholism, depression, entertainment, business and the passing of his mother. Mr. Wilson is well-known for his starring role as Professor Stanley Oglevee along side Mo'Nique on the popular syndicated sitcom, "The Parkers."
