  • Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2012 - Preparations are being made by more than two dozen local food and restaurant luminaries to prepare what might very well be the most important meal of their careers. Skilled chefs, cooking personalities and beloved restaurateurs will converge at the Anaheim White House for a culinary fundraiser benefiting Orange County's motel children on Thursday, April 26. The evening will kickoff at 7 p.m. in the restaurant's garden where guests will enjoy appetizers as they are being prepared by several of the invited chefs including Anahita Naderi formerly of Mélisse, Christophe Happilon of The Oyster Gourmet, Octavio Montoya of the Laguna Culinary Arts Café, Ryan Carson of the "touring" restaurant 'Pri-ve, Wendie Huffman of Ten Asian Bistro, Jamie Gwen of "Food & Wine with Chef Jamie Gwen" on KFWB 980, Susan Irby of Bikini Lifestyles on 790 KABC, Jeff Mahin of Stella Rossa Pizza Bar and Laurent Brazier, executive chef instructor for Laguna Culinary Arts.

    Guests of this first-time event then will enjoy a 5-course dinner prepared by Anaheim White House Executive Chef Eddie Mezza, Jean Pierre Dubray formerly of the Ritz Carlton San Francisco, Pascal Olhats of Pascal Restaurant, Le Toques Blanche International Chef of the Year Pierre Sauvaget, Michel Blanchet of the Small Smoked Seafood Company and Maurice Brazier, chef of the White House's catering division and whose background includes serving royalty from around the world.
