Our young teens survive off of their feelings. It is in later years that they come to recognize that life is not just made up of feelings but thoughts. We gain knowledge to think, then react to those feelings.

High School is the last footstep of childhood. In my opinion it is the central point to becoming an adult. It is a very key essential time in our lives. Here is the foundation of what we are expected to develop into.

In the elementary school years we have the PTA. However, this rate of parent participation seems to decline in our high schools. Fundraising is left to our students. Individual fundraisers seem to be for particular organizations in the schools.

What we are hoping to achieve is filling the gap when there is a necessity.
For example we would provide a student with a scholarship for sports, PE uniforms, senior pictures and cap and gowns, school supplies, or as one arises.

We will accomplish this by fundraising and asking for donations from the community.

In which the school is located.

We are hoping to set up chapters in different locations all over the United States.

    Starting in Jefferson County, Washington.

Teachers and counselors will have coupons to give to these students.
    This would be confidential.

We will also set up consignment stores to raise funds by giving a percentage to the Society.

(As well as a place to store the dresses and formals for both male and female.) These stores would give teens a place for community service as well.

BarbE Moegling states,” I have a dream that one day all teens will go to school and value each other for who they are. They will be confident on who they are and what they can accomplish!”

I never had that chance. I dropped out in high school in my 11th year. My parents divorced and both had drug problems. It would have been nice if this program around then.
