- (1888PressRelease) October 18, 2025 - Recently, a delegation of Huawei experts, gathered from various Huawei locations in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Xiamen, and other cities, visited WideIOT for research and guidance. Dean Liu, the General Manager of WideIOT, warmly received the Huawei expert delegation.
Mr. Liu of WideIOT led the Huawei expert delegation on a tour of the company's hardware and software products, providing a detailed introduction to WideIOT's products and services.
Mr. Liu of WideIOT elaborated on the functional characteristics, application scenarios, and embedded algorithm research and development positioning of various gateways to the Huawei experts, including the WG583 (PLC data acquisition gateway), WG581 (electricity and water meter acquisition gateway), WG593 (comprehensive industrial gateway with LORA and IO acquisition control), WG783 (5G edge computing gateway), and WG793 (comprehensive energy gateway with six serial ports and IO ports). He also introduced the applications and research and development achievements of WideIOT's industrial application APPs, such as Access Cloud, Maintenance Cloud, and Configuration Cloud.
Furthermore, Mr. Liu shared WideIOT's product applications and case studies in smart factories, water environmental protection, energy, and other fields, as well as the company's future technological and market development directions. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the empowerment scenarios of the Industrial Internet and the demand for industrial APPs.
The two parties also held discussions on how the edge computing capabilities of WideIOT's industrial smart gateways can work in conjunction with Huawei Cloud's cloud computing and edge computing to empower customers in industrial smart manufacturing. They also exchanged views on the prospects for the application and development of platform algorithms and gateway algorithms in the future Industrial Internet, as well as how Huawei's intelligent manufacturing industry algorithms can be integrated with WideIOT's industrial data acquisition.
