  • Charleston-North Charleston, SC (1888PressRelease) March 06, 2012 - Charleston's Rock station 98Rock and Market Street Saloon are partnering for 98 ROCKFEST Battle of the Bands, a competition that will allow the grand prize winner the opportunity to be the opening act at 98Rockfest.

    The first night of the 98ROCKFEST Battle of the Bands competition will take place Tuesday, March 13th at The Market Street Saloon, located at 7690 Northwoods Blvd. in North Charleston.

    The event showcases a number of bands in competitive 15-minute performance segments on the main stage. Bands will compete in front of a large audience and a panel of judges. Each band will be judged based on the best performance, originality, musicianship, star power and which band receives the loudest crowd response.
