  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 18, 2011 - On the 12th of May, 50Cent in a tweet to his followers said, "I been working hard my album its almost done. I took my time now every body's gonna hear 2011 GET RICH OR DIE TRYING. The meanest sh*t".

The rapper, who is the founding member of the G-unit American Hip Hop group, has been in and out of news often for the controversies surrounding him. In a recent interaction 50Cent talked about how he is not keen on pursuing rivalry and is only interested in mending ties and concentrating on creation of good music. He reportedly wants to end rivalries and has commented that he doesn't take beefs seriously.

About his alleged differences with Jadakiss he commented "Some of it is Hip Hop. It's just the competitive nature of the art form. Like with Jadakiss' situation, that was just Rap. I don't have a reason [to beef]. When you look back at it, when two years go by, and you say, 'Why don't I like them?' And you can't remember why, and then you know its Rap."

50Cent has kept his album away from media glare and promotions. However, it can be anticipated that he is set to make a big return after his last 2009 release, "Before I self Destruct". In the past years the star, also known as Fif, has kept busy with his alternate careers - Business and acting.

In a bid to match the success of his debut album , 2003 "Get rich or Die trying" which sold more than 8 million copies, 50 Cent explained that he is trying to be more critical of his work, "I'm working on a record now. I'm almost done. I recorded a whole album before this one that I kept...Because I want to make sure it's completely up to my standards. I'm critiquing myself." In April this yer, DJ Whoo Kid had said that 50's next album could have anywhere above 38 songs since he had already read about 22 back then. "I heard like 22 records already. He called me the other day, and said he needs 16 more songs." Whoo Kid had said about his interaction with 50Cent. Fif had made a tweet about his plans as well, tweeting "I'm putting my first single off my new album out this week nothing but heat".

50Cent is yet to break his own 2003 music sales record. The rapper is optimistic that this will be the "2011 Get rich or Die trying".
