    About The Live Well Project
The Live Well Project was born in 2010 when Michelle Weinstein (owner and CEO of FITzee Foods), Ray Gross (specialized medical consultant) and Meeshie Nguyen (Founder, D-Lux events) met to create an educational and motivational event for at-risk girls in San Diego. The event aims to empower young women to rise above difficult circumstances to live a happy and healthy life through healthy eating seminars, fitness demonstrations, inspirational speakers and goal-setting sessions.

In San Diego, there are nearly 2,000 young adults without a home. Some run away from abusive homes, some have lost their families to illness or violence. These at risk youth need support, education, inspiration, leadership, empowerment and awareness. The founders behind the Live Well Project believe that their expertise and passion for health and fitness can help achieve these goals. Learning to nourish and strengthen young women's bodies is an important step in taking control of their lives.
