Products earning the Honoring Excellence seal this month includ gear, accessories and personal use products, as well as books for all audiences, from infant through adult.
Through its open cycle, the Mom's Choice Awards presents the winners of its prestigious Honoring Excellence seal each month. "Parents, retailers, and educators shouldn't have to wait for a specific month of the year to find out what the best products and services are," continues Matheson. "Having a cycle like that also hurts the creators. They're ready to shout out their news - but they have to wait for the accolades."
Exeuctive Director Dawn Matheson knows that first hand. She explains that as a new author it was very difficult to get attention. "As a small publisher, the hardest thing to do was build market interest in my books," she says. "it wasn't until I added 'award-winning' to my title that people started to take notice."
Honorees agree: "knowing that 5 people studied and evaluated my product makes a difference to me," says Cheri Hallwood, award-winnin author. "Seeing the Mom's Choice Award seal is valuable to me as an author, but also as a mother and grandmother."
