  • (1888PressRelease) May 21, 2014 - (Chicago, IL) - Healthcare professionals and patient advocacy experts gathered in Chicago, Illinois for the 2nd Annual Mobile Healthcare Forum to learn about the best practices for mobile use in the healthcare space. The conference was held May 15-16 at the Courtyard Mariott.

    Participants took part in interactive discussions, networking opportunities, and breakout sessions to share valuable insight to a plethora of mobile marketing topics, including EHR integration, digital content strategy, and the rising popularity of mobile device use. Speakers from a variety of companies such as Merck, Eisai, Daiichi Sankyo, Manhattan Research and Beckman Coulter conducted presentations and panel discussions.

    In a special panel discussion, attendees heard from patients and patient advocacy professionals representing the American Liver Foundation and the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association. The panel discussed their perspectives on mobile engagement, how they hoped mobile technology would be implemented in the future of healthcare and how mobile marketing strategies could be utilized to better connect with healthcare professionals. The well-received panel presentation offered attendees a platform for interactive dialogue and enthusiastic idea-sharing.

    More than two dozen healthcare professionals, patients, and mobile engagement experts conducted presentations and sessions throughout the two-day conference. Distinguished presenters included Grady Davis of Medtronic, Kevin Riddleberger of iTriage, and Ben Currie of GA Communication Group.
