  • (1888PressRelease) August 02, 2013 - Twenty-one year old entrepreneur Katherine Choynowski is set to launch her new online venture for home design: Le Crib.com. The site will allow shoppers a new shopping experience focused on the millennial generations lifestyle and shopping habits. Katherine told us: "Truthfully, our generation expects to have it all. We want to be able to find everything we need online, we want it delivered to our doorstep and we want it to be cool." Not only will Le Crib allow consumers to comment on and discuss the products with the designers, but will afford designers with little prior exposure the opportunity to showcase their designs.

"I love buying my furniture locally and knowing the history behind my pieces. I really wanted to help out the designers I met, so now I'm going to give them a competitive edge and help them market their products to the world," Choynowski explains. "Generation Y is both tech-savvy and eco-conscious. Le Crib has embraced this fact. The idea of a silent purchase where the buyer has no idea of the product's back story is outdated now, we need to embrace the possibilities opened up to retail by social media."

Le Crib and it's founder Katherine Choynowski have already gained significant attention with their music video soundtrack by Sacha Mucki (famous for his sets in Cannes and Ibiza) and are in the news again, this time co- producing the indie movie #Roadies, starring Eve Hewson ( daughter of rocker Bono)  and Jack Quaid ( son of Hollywood star Dennis Quaid).

Based in the heart of East London, Le Crib supports a local community of designers and uses social media as their key marketing channel.
" We are focusing our efforts where our target customer base spends their time" explained Katherine. "Everything is social now. Whatever we are interested in, we expect to share it with our friends"  The LeCrib Facebook page already has 17,000 fans.
