2 additional ASIS RHIB Boats are now in the hands of the UAE Coast Guard

We are excited to announce that we have recently delivered two ASIS RHIB Boats to the UAE’s Coast Guard. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) May 30, 2023 - These 2 RHIBs are powered by high-performance twin Mercury Verado F300Hp V8 Outboard Engines that provide excellent power and speed, and have a range of features that make them ideal for Coast guard’s mission.

The hull and deck are made from laminated fiberglass, with extra reinforcement for added strength. The tubes are made from Hypalon and are filled with PE foam, providing excellent buoyancy and impact resistance.

In our end-user centric approach, we have gone above and beyond by taking care of the installation of necessary TETRA Radio devices, typically used by government agencies worldwide. In the case of the coast guard, they provided us with the Teltronic MDT-400 model themselves and we installed for them, saving them the time and effort of having to perform the installation at a later stage.

This proactive approach not only ensures a seamless integration but also avoids any potential electrical conflicts with the rest of the systems. Furthermore, it helps preserve the warranties on the remaining equipment, including the GARMIN GPSMAP-8410XSV display, GARMIN radar, and GARMIN VHF radio.

The boats are also equipped with Ullman suspension seats, providing a comfortable ride even in rough waters. In addition to these features, the boats come with a range of safety equipment, including life jackets, a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, and more. These are not the first RHIB boats that are to be used by the Coast Guard, as they have previously commissioned 8 boats over the past few years. This last order brings up the total of ASIS Boats currently in service in the UAE to 10, all of which are now supporting the UAE’s coast guard in their daily operations. We are proud to have been able to provide these high-quality boats and are confident that they will serve them well in their mission to keep the waters safe.
