(1888PressRelease) November 28, 2017 - The Musical Treasures Auction via Guernsey's (http://guernseys.com/v2/guitars_musical_treasures.html) has for auction “The San Francisco Live Performance Tapes”, which consists of an historical archived collection of professional late 1960’s era live recordings from San Francisco performances of many of the (soon to be) best-known rock bands, blues artists and historic American folk musicians. These were all local recorded concerts presented at San Francisco State College auditorium and other locations (like The Boarding House) mostly between the years of 1963 and 1968. The concerts were produced, promoted and managed as an ongoing series of on & off campus live-radio concerts which aired over KSFR, and were also at some point linked to KSAN-FM, and other National Public Radio affiliated stations for regional re-broadcast. It is believed that these performances were also later re-broadcast on regional affiliates of the National Public Radio college stations as late as 1973.
