  • Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) April 12, 2013 - The 32nd Annual Vintage Virginia Wine and Food Festival will run June 1st and 2nd at the Bull Run Special Events Center in Centreville, Virginia, and this year, festival-goers will notice a few changes to the typical vendor list. In the past, dozens of Virginia wineries have had a presence at the festival, and in 2013 that will be no different.

Nearly 40 wineries are registered for the event, including Barboursville, Prince Michel, Trump and Veritas. What will differ at this year's Vintage Virginia is the 15+ gourmet food trucks scheduled to be onsite, as well as a special Food and Wine Pairing Seminar Series from the following roster of top chefs:

    • Chef Roshni, winner of Chopped
    • Chef Barbie Marshall of Hell's Kitchen
    • Chef Michael Langdon
    • Chef Ronaldo Linares

These expert chefs will feature a full three-course meal uniquely segmented into three one-hour seminars each day of Vintage Virginia. The seminar presentations will showcase Virginia-inspired cuisine paired with Virginia award-winning wines. The audience will be able to view the presentation beneath the shade of a 300-person tent with clear audio and visually stunning video, allowing for everyone to have a first row seat to learn and enjoy the best that Virginia has to offer.

"This year is an exciting one for Vintage Virginia," says Kris Hodges, co-founder of Across the Way Productions.

"Not only will we have the best in Virginia wine, but we have the pleasure of featuring the region's top gourmet food trucks and chefs. Audiences have the opportunity to taste what Virginia has to offer while also learning from some of the best in the business."

In addition to a huge spread of food and wine, Vintage Virginia will also feature a variety of local artists and retailers, as well as the following performers:

    • Justin Jones
    • James Justin & Co.
    • Farm Vegas
    • Bryan Elijah Smith & The Wild Hearts
