  • (1888PressRelease) January 14, 2014 - "The Sudden Madness Of Shelly Q," Sunil Tinani's first novel is now available on Smashwords and Amazon.

The action in this 13,000-word novelette takes place in India and Pakistan.

Shelly Q, a leggy, good-looking, intelligent and manipulative model from India hooks Jabbar, a rich Pakistani tycoon's son. The couple decides to marry when all of a sudden a chaotic incident shakes Shelly's psychological foundation. She experiences a bout of hallucinations, turns violent and generally goes downhill from there on.

The setting shifts from Pakistan to India but Shelly does not get any respite. Her fragile mind keeps getting rocked from time by one murder after another until it's time for the unusual denouement.

The book takes readers on a dreamy trip full of death, destruction, deceit, greed and vengeance. The book, which is modeled on classic Hithcock-ian lines, also has the potential to be converted into a full-length motion picture.
