  • Nassau-Suffolk, NY (1888PressRelease) March 27, 2013 - Recognized as "the most exciting piano trio in America" by The New Yorker and "consistently brilliant" by the New York Times, Trio Solisti will perform a concert on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. in the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC) Concert Hall, 1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY. Trio Solisti's soulful and passionate performances are marked by soloistic virtuosity, electric energy, seamless ensemble playing and thrilling abandon. Their spring concert will include works by Beethoven, Musto, Piazzolla and Arensky.

    Trio Solisti's critically acclaimed musicians-violinist Maria Bachmann, cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach, and pianist Jon Klibonoff, have earned a reputation for their ability to perform a broad spectrum of styles and have collaborated with some of the finest musicians in the world. They are frequent guests of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and have been broadcast nationally on American Public Media's Saint Paul Sunday and National Public Radio's Performance Today.

    Their program will include Beethoven's Piano Trio in E Flat Major, Op. 1 No. 1; Musto's Piano Trio; Piazzolla's Le Grand Tango and Arensky's Trio in D Minor Op. 32."
