  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) April 22, 2017 - Jai & Jai Gallery is pleased to present 'Oral Floral,' a solo exhibition by Kent Yoshimura with an opening reception on Saturday, May 6th, 2017.

In the artist's first solo show with Jai & Jai Gallery, Kent Yoshimura presents new works that play with the "elusive complexities of our thoughts and desires." By organizing the space in a circular flow, the viewer observes a curated narrative through different mediums ranging from delicate sculptures to large-scale acrylic resin paintings. Kent expresses that "art is an extremely concentrated process of analyzing depth in all experiences and choosing what to include or exclude."

Primarily known for his public art installations and recently appointed as a reserve muralist for the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Kent transforms the Jai & Jai gallery into an experiential exhibition space as he delves into the "superficiality and the preservation of transient feelings". Capture a glimpse of Kent's personal interpretations of the human psyche as he confines his works into a private space.
