TLCBN partnered with Giving Back Cheer's 2010 local charity Families Helping Families, an initiative of the Palmetto Project. More than 400 people attended the event and the money raised will benefit over 350 families this year.

Each December for nineteen years, Families Helping Families has worked to ensure that no Lowcountry family is left out of the spirit of the holiday season. They fill specific requests and needs for families including clothing, household necessities and toys. All the proceeds from the event, including the silent auction and raffle, benefited Families Helping Families in the local area. Attendees enjoyed music and amazing cuisine and cocktails prepared by local chefs.

Stebbins spoke about the parallels between Families Helping Families and businesses helping businesses and the importance to give back to your local community. "Giving Back Cheer is such a great cause and it involves a lot of community members and business owners around Charleston.
