"Illuminate" With SESAC Artist Destenee's Debut Album and First Ever Dov Music and Arts Fest
US Music Corporation Recording artist Destenee releases her debut single at the Dov Fest establishing herself as a new generation indie artist turned entrepreneur.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2013 - Musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, DJ and all around entertainer Destenee will be celebrating her long awaited debut album with the lead single Illuminate as she unveils the first of its kind Flight of The Dov Music and Arts Festival. This dual event will take place on Saturday August 24, 2013 at LAYOM located at Glenoaks Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90068 from noon to midnite.
The Dov Fest is the brainchild of Destenee who has proven to be quite the entrepreneur. She has conceptualized the entire album as well written and produced most of it. "Her creativity is explosive' comments Noemi Torres who has been managing Destenee's career from the very beginning. "Destenee's vision was to bring a unique music experience to her own generation and as she call her fans: "Little Dovs". Since the majority of her fans seemed to be under 18, she is bringing 12 hours full of excitement right into their back yards. "Destenee has been working with LAYOM since 2007 as a mentor" - states Hugh Carter- founder. She has been helping bring entertainment to high school kids all over Los Angeles. The Dov Fest is her baby" - continues Ms Torres - CEO of Kestebray Music Group, LLC.
"The album has everything DANCE" says Destenee. "All except one song which is a ballad, and ironically titled "Dancing In Your Rain". The rest of the songs are electro club anthems, dance infused dubstep, pop flavored mombathon, and carnival house all laced with Destenee's sultry vocals.
The entire album was produced at The Lab owned by Kestebray Music Group, LLC. The production on the album is impressive, the mixes are crispy clean and radio ready with Destenee's credits all over them. "I like my production to be pretty and then get huge swells and big dirty sounds on the drops. Most people never expect that from my production. I call it "Dov Step" she says. All the tracks for the album will be played at the Dov Fest which is not to be missed.
The Dov Fest will feature huge water slides, a foam room and other water games. Patrons are being advised on bringing swimsuits and a change of clothing. Stages will feature DJ's and acts such as Union of House, Cali Swag, Elektro Horse, Austin Brown, The Party Rock DJ Crew, Beldina, Electric Child, The Rej3ctz, O'Smith, Diamonds & Scratch, WesNyle, Lost In Atlantis, Maxso, Domonique Jackson, and many more.
Destenee's team has recruited supporters which makes her indie image appear quite major. US Music Corporation has been a long supporter for over four years. "I love my Parker Guitar to rock it out and then I bring my Washburn everywhere to write with. I have acoustic versions on all my songs" says the young vocalist. Another long time supporter has been Houstina Summers with her Cowgirl Heaven Fashions line. Aerial 7 and Karl Kani have also been working with Destenee for over two years.
The most recently partnership with Sennheiser sets precedence with international appeal as Destenee spreads her brand into the European and Asian markets.
To support Flight Of The Dov's release, Destenee will be bringing her Dov Fest to towns across the country featuring performances from local acts as well as unpredictably varied but promising entertainment.
