    About the Book:
Julie Marshal has always wanted to be an internationally known and successful chef. She has a plan that she intends on sticking to and if only life would not get in the way, she would soon be owning a Michelin star restaurant. However, the moment Julie falls in love, her carefully thought out plan falls to pieces. Julie decides to follow her heart instead of her plan, and when this decision takes her to the African bush all sorts of events and tragedies change the course of her life forever.

    Excerpt from the book:
“Mark’s lawyer had made a mockery out of the case and the prosecution lawyer was not in the same league as Mark’s. Amelia had threatened to divorce him, but unfortunately Mark somehow managed to get another chance. But Jelani said things between them were obviously never the same when she would come up to Chiawa.

By now, I was feeling physically sick at what I had allowed to happen to myself. Why in the name of hell was I never told all this when I started working at Elite Safaris? There would have been no way that I would have allowed that bastard near me. I actually felt quite tainted by it. At that moment, I could have quite easily murdered Mark without a second thought.

I knew what happened between us was one secret I would have to take to my grave.

I am sure we are all entitled to one mistake in our lives, some worse than others, where our punishment is to live with it for the rest of one’s life.”

    Review on Amazon:
    Wordly Traveller

    5.0 out of 5 stars
Good thriller with many twists & turns

This is an excellent page turner about a woman whose plans in life are derailed when she falls in love and follows her heart rather than her dreams. Her heart takes her to Morocco, then Botswana for a fresh start, and while working in the treacherous African bush, she is confronted with a situation that will place her life in peril.

Great novel to read on the train to work or whilst on holiday.
