"Cocktails for a Cause" to Raise Crucial Scholarship Funds

  • Trenton-Ewing, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2012 - The University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, caterer Morrison, and jazz trio, The Franklin and Alison Orchestra, join the YWCA Princeton for a special evening, "Cocktails for a Cause," for its Annual Pearl Bates Scholarship Benefit on Thursday, November 1 from 6-9 pm.

    This event enables the YWCA Princeton to continue to providing more than $500,000 in scholarships and financial assistance to women and families annually.

    Delicious cuisine is provided by the caterer Morrison, the official food service provider of the University Medical Center and music by the outstanding jazz trio, The Franklin and Alison Orchestra. There will be a silent auction with numerous gift items available.

    Those who attend will receive a complimentary ticket to the YWCA's other Bates Scholarship fundraiser, the Crafters' Marketplace-a juried show with more than 130 artisans.

    Tickets to "Cocktails for a Cause" are $100 and include the benefit on November 1, entrance to the Crafters' Marketplace on November 17 & 18, and a complimentary lunch at the Newcomers' Café on November 17 & 18. Event tickets may be purchased by calling (609) 497-2100 ext. 333.
